Jerry came out this morning and fixed gmy problems with one door and got the parts coming for the other one. He was professional, and explained everything that he could do what he could not I would strongly recommend this company to anyone that needs repair work done to their garage door.

My garage door would routinely hang up while closing. I called Precision because the on-line reviews of the company were very positive. The service technician, Kegan, did a wonderful job fixing the issue. I was especially impressed that he really tried to understand and correct the problem while recognizing my desire to keep the price within my budget. Even though my opener is older, he didn't pressure me to just buy a new opener to correct the problem. Instead, Kegan installed new rollers, adjusted the tracks, tightened the opener's connection point, and adjusted the opener. These seem to have corrected the problem. I was very impressed with Kegan's knowledge and workmanship. In addition, Kegan was very friendly and patiently answered my questions and explained options for correcting the problem. He was a pleasure to work with, and I would certainly be comfortable having him work on my garage door system again.

We asked Precision Door - Idaho Falls to make some adjustments on our 12 x 16 shop door. The technician came the same day of our call. While there, Kegan noted that the spring was not adequate for the size and weight of our door. He replaced the spring and made the adjustments so all is in good working order. Kegan took the time to help us understand the adjustments and showed us how to set up our remote openers. We hope Kegan is available the next time we need help.

I know that Precision Garage has only been in business for only a few years, but I wanted to give someone that who is essentially new a try. I am not disappointed in my choice. Great service! The technician called to coordinate an early arrival. Fast and honest estimate and explained why each part needed replaced and which parts I could feasibly wait if I needed to lower the cost. He swapped out all the hardware and now I have a 7 year warranty! Advised me on quality door openers and where I can save some money, but also where I should spend for quality. Very pleased guys. Kegan was extremely kind in helping my mother with her lost garage opener. We planned on the entire unit to need replacing, it’s quite old. He tested the unit; worked great. He was honest about not needing to change out the entire system. He gave my mother two door openers, that’s all she ended up needing. I live out of state and Kegan was great to help coordinate getting my mother’s garage door/openers taken care of. It means a lot when someone goes above and beyond to be kind and helpful.

I called Precision because my double garage door spring broke. Larry came out and showed me where else my old garage door had issues. He was real with me. He showed me the amateur repairs that had been done to my door before I bought the house. He showed me parts that were wearing out. He told me he could get it working, but for what? A year? He took the time to show me what all would have to be replaced for it to last and explained that by the time we paid for that we’d be so much into a new door - when it did go out - I’d be rebuying many of the same parts to get it up and going again. So he gave me a quote on both of my garage doors (single and double). We ended up just doing the double and the price didn’t go up because we just did the one. The Transparency was awesome. He did the work efficiently and even was up front that a there would be a credit card fee if we went that route. We are very pleased and look forward to replacing the small door in a year or three.
