I was disappointed with my experience. The technician was here for less than 10 minutes and quickly determined that my garage doors were Overhead Door brand and that they couldn’t repair them because the panels would need to come from Overhead. My biggest frustration is that I was charged an $85 service/estimate fee just to be told to contact Overhead Door. I wish they had asked beforehand if I had an Overhead Door, or at least waived the $85 fee once they realized they couldn’t service it. Overhead Door is sending someone out to give me an estimate at no charge.

Great service from the initial call (off hours) - I was able to get booked quickly with a friendly scheduler. The technician showed up on time as scheduled and did all the work we needed in one trip. He was friendly and helped explain our options, and even explained things we didn’t necessarily need. Fair price, great service! Highly recommend!!

My garage door would routinely hang up while closing. I called Precision because the on-line reviews of the company were very positive. The service technician, Kegan, did a wonderful job fixing the issue. I was especially impressed that he really tried to understand and correct the problem while recognizing my desire to keep the price within my budget. Even though my opener is older, he didn't pressure me to just buy a new opener to correct the problem. Instead, Kegan installed new rollers, adjusted the tracks, tightened the opener's connection point, and adjusted the opener. These seem to have corrected the problem. I was very impressed with Kegan's knowledge and workmanship. In addition, Kegan was very friendly and patiently answered my questions and explained options for correcting the problem. He was a pleasure to work with, and I would certainly be comfortable having him work on my garage door system again.

Precision Garage Doors delivered outstanding service when they arrived to replace our garage doors after a new-build home subcontractor installed them incorrectly and out of code, including improper wiring that needed full correction. The original doors were shoddy, negligently installed, and defective, creating both safety and functionality concerns that required immediate professional attention. From the moment they assessed the situation, it was clear their technicians were diagnostic experts with strong code familiarity, quickly identifying every issue and developing an effective plan to put everything right. The meticulous, knowledgeable, and courteous crew of Jerry, Keegan, and Max proved highly experienced, detail-oriented, and efficient technicians who worked with care and precision throughout the installation. They were consistently kind and professional, taking the time to ensure every aspect of the new doors was handled properly while keeping the job site clean and organized as they worked. Their thorough approach extended through an excellent walkthrough of the new product, complete testing, and a final comprehensive check of all components. The new doors are flawless, impeccable, silent, secure, and seamless, leaving us fully confident in the results. We couldn’t be more satisfied with the quality of work and the peace of mind Precision Garage Doors provided. I especially love the camera, the keyless pad options offered, and the My Q accessories that make everyday use so convenient. My Q offers me a quick way to see if my garage doors are closed if can't remember if I closed the garage doors when I left my home. The two-sided steel doors are remarkably easy to care for, and the windows offer beautiful natural light that transforms the space.

I know that Precision Garage has only been in business for only a few years, but I wanted to give someone that who is essentially new a try. I am not disappointed in my choice. Kegan was here before the time that I was given, and was ready to work. He looked at both garage doors, and asked us questions and then saw what we were talking about with one of the garage doors. Kegan did a really great job, and had the doors back up and running great in no time. I recommend using Precision Garage. The price is worth the work they do.

Great service! The technician called to coordinate an early arrival. Fast and honest estimate and explained why each part needed replaced and which parts I could feasibly wait if I needed to lower the cost. He swapped out all the hardware and now I have a 7 year warranty! Advised me on quality door openers and where I can save some money, but also where I should spend for quality. Very pleased guys. Thanks!

The technician showed up right when he said he would. He was able to fix the tension issue we were having with our garage door springs. He also made sure that the garage door was balanced and easy to open up manually before he left. This was our first time using Precision Garage Door of Idaho Falls and we are very happy with them. We couldn't recommend them more for all your garage door needs.

Kegan was extremely kind in helping my mother with her lost garage opener. We planned on the entire unit to need replacing, it’s quite old. He tested the unit; worked great. He was honest about not needing to change out the entire system. He gave my mother two door openers, that’s all she ended up needing. I live out of state and Kegan was great to help coordinate getting my mother’s garage door/openers taken care of. It means a lot when someone goes above and beyond to be kind and helpful.

I called Precision because my double garage door spring broke. Larry came out and showed me where else my old garage door had issues. He was real with me. He showed me the amateur repairs that had been done to my door before I bought the house. He showed me parts that were wearing out. He told me he could get it working, but for what? A year? He took the time to show me what all would have to be replaced for it to last and explained that by the time we paid for that we’d be so much into a new door - when it did go out - I’d be rebuying many of the same parts to get it up and going again. So he gave me a quote on both of my garage doors (single and double). We ended up just doing the double and the price didn’t go up because we just did the one. The Transparency was awesome. He did the work efficiently and even was up front that a there would be a credit card fee if we went that route. We are very pleased and look forward to replacing the small door in a year or three.

This company provides a very good value for garage door tune-ups/maintenance. The technician, Kegan Dragoman, was very knowledgeable and professional, and did a very thorough job of inspecting, aligning, and correcting; and he also made good recommendations to take care of on the garage doors that likely would need to be addressed next year. This type of service engenders confidence and loyal customers. I was not aware of the senior citizen discount until seeing the decal at the bottom of this page, though.
